Used for ACRA records and formal notices.
Registered Office Address Service
A Singapore company needs a registered office address for official notices and company records. Before engagement, confirm how mail is notified, scanned, collected or forwarded.
A registered office is not automatically a customer-facing office, storage location or licensed operating premises.
Scanning or forwarding depends on the agreed scope.
Customer visits and regulated use require confirmation.
What the address service covers
The service confirmation should state the notification method, collection process and any forwarding charges.
Typical scope
- Use as the company registered office address
- Receipt of government and formal company mail
- Notification to the nominated contact
- Document collection or forwarding as agreed
Confirm separately
- International courier charges
- Bulk or frequent commercial mail
- Customer visits or meeting use
- Licence, warehouse or operating-premises use
Registered office, business address and contact address
| Address type | Purpose | Check before use |
|---|---|---|
| Registered office | ACRA record, formal notices and company records | Mail access and public record implications |
| Operating office | Where staff or business operations are conducted | Lease, zoning and licensing requirements |
| Mailing or contact address | General correspondence | Whether the provider permits commercial use |
What happens when mail arrives
- Receipt: mail is received at the registered office.
- Notification: the nominated contact is informed using the agreed channel.
- Instruction: the client confirms collection, scanning or forwarding.
- Delivery: any forwarding or courier charge is handled according to the service terms.
The client remains responsible for keeping contact details current and responding promptly to ACRA, IRAS, bank or legal correspondence.
Rules and filing guidance
Questions to settle before engagement
Must the registered office be in Singapore?
Yes. A Singapore company’s registered office must be a Singapore address used for official notices and relevant company records.
Can it differ from the operating office?
Yes. The registered office serves statutory purposes, while the business may operate from another location.
Does the service include all mail forwarding?
Not necessarily. Notification, scanning, ordinary forwarding, courier and international forwarding should be confirmed in the service scope.
Can the address be printed on invoices and the website?
The permitted commercial use should be confirmed first. A statutory registered office may not be suitable for visits, licensing, storage or every marketing use.
What should be updated after an address change?
The company should update ACRA and check whether the bank, IRAS, contracts, invoices and other records also require changes.
Confirm the documents and service scope first
Send us your company status and available documents. ProSec will explain the relevant scope, fee and next step.
